This week I was really so unsure of what I wanted to pick up at CVS.I really needed the toilet paper and could have probably just spent $30 on toilet paper and been happy. CVS has All laundry detergent on the special if you spend $30 get a $10 cash card, compare that with the $2 coupons and you are dropping that $30 price down. I ordered coupons from my favorite whole insert site and I was able to score all this All laundry detergent for the price of $7.28.Yes, you read that correctly. I spent $7.28 on 8 All laundry detergents. That price is what a normal non- couponer would pay for just one bottle of All or some other brand.I like saving money and I plan to stick to coupons and get a nice stockpile this year. I ordered coupon from my favorite whole insert site and received my coupons on Wednesday. I quickly clipped some of the coupons I knew I needed for my shopping trip.I was tired from working until 5 and clipping and sorting through so many coupon inserts but I love a great deal ... so shopping I went. I bought everything in one trip.I noticed before CVS scanned my card that the total was close $100 and I was getting a bit worried. I never calculate before a shopping trip. I am far from that organized and especially since I did this quick run straight after work. CVS scanned my card and the total dropped but it was not as low as I was hoping for. I then gave CVS my coupons and then the total dropped a whole lot more. I paid $22.78 for everything in both pictures. I had coupons for everything, I also got back $10 cash card, $5 ECB, and $3 ECB to use on my next shopping trip.
