cream cheese and bacon wrap chicken

Last week I picked up my very first order of 100 % all natural Zaycon chicken .I was not sure what I wanted to make. My husband is not a big fan of chicken breast. This recipe is beyond simple and I must say it was wonderful and full of flavor. 4 Chicken breast Chopped green onions ( I used the whipped cream cheese) Bacon Cream Cheese Bad Byron's Butt Rub Barbecue Seasoning, 26 Ounce In a bowl mix cream cheese and green onions.Next, lay the chicken out and spread the cream cheese and green onion mixture over the chicken.Next, wrap the chicken with bacon. I had to use 2 pieces per chicken.I sprinkled Butt Rub all over the top of the chicken and then used toothpicks to keep the bacon secured to the chicken. I cooked the chicken for 45 minutes at 400 degrees. I use this type of pan Range Kleen Porcelain Broiler Pan with Porcelain Grill to cook the chicken. I did not want the chicken … [Read more...]

I've put together a list of ways you can save on your fall cooking this year. 5 Ways to Save on Fall Cooking 1. Use Coupons! - This should probably go without saying but please do not forget to use your coupons! During the next few months you are going to see a lot of items you will use during the holidays go on sale. Combining the grocery store sales along with your coupons can save you a nice amount of money. Keep an eye out for canned foods, baking supplies, turkey, ham and much more. 2. Pumpkin Cake Desset

If your like me, your favorite thing about Thanksgiving is the pumpkin pies!! I probably eat at least 2 whole pumpkin pies by myself over the holiday season. I smother them in cool whip and go to town. Yum!! So you can imagine how extremely excited I was when I met my husband and his mother made this pumpkin dessert. She still only makes it for holidays, but it has cake in it, which is my cue to make it any time of the year. Which I do, often! I will warn you it is soooo addicting!! Here is what you will need. (I will also warn you, I've been told I cook like a southerner (whatever that implies) but I do NOT measure or time anything!! So while I have the exact measurements for this recipe, yours may look a little different than my pictures, because I just throw in whatever I feel is close enough or the right amount.) 29oz can of pumpkin (I use (2) 15oz cans, a little extra pumpkin, who notices, lol) 12oz can of evap. milk 3 eggs 1 cup of sugar 1 tsp of … [Read more...]
