Cheeseburger Pie Recipe

cheeseburger pie

I love simple recipes. I signed up on Friday for the Bisquick newsletter, and I was emailed this recipe. I was looking over the recipe and I was over joyed because I had all the ingredients at home and did not have to shop for anything. I doubled the recipe, my husband is a big eater so I was prepared. I must say I really enjoyed this recipe. It was a bit on the dry side and I wonder instead on putting the topping on top , if it would have been alright to mix it with the meat mixture. Then bake and maybe 10 minutes before it was done to top with some cheese. Top off a slice of this delicious pie just like you would a cheeseburger. Some favorites are barbecue sauce, bacon, ketchup, salsa and sliced tomato. Or go wild with pineapple slices or avocado! 5.0 from 1 reviews Cheeseburger Pie Recipe   Print Ingredients lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup) ½ teaspoon salt 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz) ½ cup Original … [Read more...]
