Prom Day

prom2

Prom day has finally arrived, my daughter has been planning this day for months.Madison had everything planned out. Madison wore a Clarisse dress from Prom Girl. This dress is totally stunning and breath taking, it has gold sequins and is so sparkly.Madison went the day before to have her nails done for prom. Madison wanted a hair style that Carrie Underwood had and used a picture that she found online.I loved how her hair turned out and it was so beautifully curled.I do think next year we will need to get her hair appointment a little earlier than 2:30. We left the salon at 5:00 and we still had to run and get a quick photo shoot. We went to Mepkin Abbey to have a quick photo shoot with Ashley Warren with the Starving Hobbyist. Ashley did an amazing job on the photos.I will be ordering a prom photo book for her to have a keepsake. Madison and her friends enjoyed taking some pictures. They went to eat at Olive Garden and they did not get to eat until 8ish and it made them … [Read more...]

Child With Allergies

My son was born July 22, 2010 and at this time he was just fine no allergies that we knew of. He did start to get eczema around 5 months old but figured that was just to be due to my family having very dry skin. He turned a year old and then in Nov. of 2011 .We went to take family pictures in a hay field. When we got home I decided to try and fix him a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I was always told you can try peanuts after a year. We waited a few months to give him peanuts. This was the first time trying it. I sat him in his high chair and gave it to him. About 3 minutes later, I looked at him and he had it on his face and hands. He then started to scratch his face and his eyes watering and then the hives started. At this time I told my husband I think something is wrong. So we jumped in the car and headed to the ER. They gave him some medicine and he started to get better. That seemed like the longest car ride ever. We did stop by doctors care first but when we got him out … [Read more...]
