Lemon Lush Dessert

My mom made this awesome Lemon Lush dessert on Mothers Day. I am not big into lemon desserts. I was really shocked at how good this dessert turned out.This Lemon Lush dessert is not over powering at all and had a sweet taste.

Lemon Lush Dessert
Recipe type: Dessert
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter,softened
  • 2 (8oz) cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 (3.4 oz)packages of instant lemon pudding
  • 3½ cups milk
  • 1(12 oz) cool whip thawed
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a medium bowl combine flour and butter using a pastry cutter until a ball forms.Press into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Bake crust for 25 minutes or until lightly golden.Allow to cool completely when removed from oven.
  4. In a medium bowl beat cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and well blended.Spread evenly over the cooled crust.In another bowl whisk together lemon pudding and milk for 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Spread over the cream cheese layer. Chill until set,then top with cool whip topping.
