The Holidays are on the way!  Here are three simple recipes that are always a hit at the parties and pot lucks that come with the season.  Enjoy!
Hot Crab Artichoke Dip
It’s super easy. It’s a go-to dish for parties, especially this time of year when crab is actually on the affordable side. My daughter has made it with canned and imitation crab as well and says it is still very good.

1 block of cream cheese (8 oz.)
1/4 C. Sour Cream
1/4 C. Mayonnaise
1/3 C. Parmesan Cheese (shredded works best)
1/2 tsp. Paprika
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
2 C. Crab Meat
1 can (15 oz.) Artichoke hearts, cut into bite size pieces

Mix all the ingredients together and spread into a greased 8 x 8 casserole dish, sprinkle with a bit more parmesan Cheese and bake at 350 degrees until bubbly and starting to brown. Serve with crusty french bread or crackers.

Mom’s Dip
This recipe comes from my husband’s family and is expected at the family Christmas get together.  It is so easy to make though that we pull straws to see who gets to for that year.  It’s better to make this the day before serving to give the ingredients a chance to develop the flavor.
1 – 16 oz. container of Small Curd Cottage Cheese
1 – 8 oz. block of Cream Cheese
8 oz. (1 C.) of Wishbone Italian Salad Dressing (It HAS to be Wishbone!)  This recipe just is not the same with any other brand!
3 – 3/12 tsp. Garlic Powder (to taste – don’t overdo it!  You can always add more before serving, but you cannot take any out!)
Set the Cream Cheese out and let it come to room temperature (you can also put it in the microwave to soften it)
Combine the softened Cream Cheese with the other ingredients and chill for a minimum of 2 hours.  Stir a little bit before serving and serve with Potato Chips or a Veggie Tray.   Don’t worry about left overs, there won’t be any!
Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip
Oh my gosh, who doesn’t love this?  Sometimes I make it just for dinner!
1 – 15 oz. can of Artichoke Hearts, drained and chopped into bite size pieces
1 – 10 oz. package of frozen Spinach,
½ C. Sour Cream
½ C. Mayonnaise
1/3 C. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
¼ C. Shredded Parmesan Cheese
½ – 1 tsp. Garlic Salt
Cook the Spinach according to the package directions and drain well.  Mix with the remaining ingredients and pour into a greased 8 x 8 casserole dish.  Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 325 until it is bubbly.  Serve with Tortilla Chips, Crusty Bread or Crackers.
